Brands I love and hate

There are a number of brands that I love, my current favourite brand is Zara. This brand I have loved for many years for a number of different reasons. Zara is a great brand for any fashion driven consumer type with them targeting a wide target audience. I have personally being shopping in Zara since a child from

being my mums favourite clothing brand to mine. This has made me become a loyal customer to Zara due to its ability to adapt so quickly to the latest fashion trends making it reliable for customers to have to latest fashion trends and seasonal pieces on time. Another reason why Zara is such a well loved brand and is becoming increasingly more popular is due to the increase of eco friendly and sustainable clothing they produce, Zara provides and sells a large number of clothing products which are sustainable putting them above their competitors this environmentally friendly collection is called join life. Another reason why I love shopping at Zara above other brands is the high quality clothing for an affordable price, Zara offers a range of collections ranging from affordable to high end supplying collections for every consumer, such as children, men, women and and younger generation collection called TRF and its newest edition the pet collection. This collection is by far once of my favourites yet as a pet lover myself this is the perfect way in which Zara can stand out from their competitors. This shows that me as a customer wants quick adapting fashion which is available 24/7 online with next day delivery or in-store with large retail space offering a wide range of products for multiple consumers, with Zara adapting to the latest fashion trends so quickly consumers such as myself are able to get trend pieces before others. However, a brand in which I hate is pretty little thing, even though this brand is very popular with consumers my age i have never agreed or like their brand or products. There are a number of reasons
why I dislike this brand firstly, PLT is a fast fashion brand with very poor labour rates and their products are not sustainable, not using eco friendly materials and have not taken any action to solve this problem. The reason that brands like pretty little thing are not sustainable is due to producing clothing at the lowest cost possible through reducing cost at production and material it provides very poor quality clothing which will be used for a couple of wears then put into landfill. This problem is not just pretty little thing but many online fast fashion brands. However, PLT are one of the most recognisable online fast fashion companies and are not resolving these issues making it seem okay to either similar brands to contiune this way. Pretty little Thing clothing is produced at the lowest cost possible resulting in low quality clothing. Overall, looking at my favourite and worst brand this shows the type of consumer I am. Looking at this I am a loyal consumer only shopping with brands with high quality and good brand values, constantly shopping with the same brands knowing that they are reliable and agree with my values.
